Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Vid2Viral ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

Vid2Viral is an AI-powered video editing platform that processes uploaded video files to remove filler words, silence, and generate social media content. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with a free tier available.

3. Account registration

You must provide a valid email address to register. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or overload the Service.
• Share your account with other users or resell access to the Service.
• Use the Service to generate content for spam or mass distribution without consent.

5. Payments and subscriptions

• Paid plans are billed monthly.
• Payments are processed by Polar. By subscribing you agree to Polar's terms.
• Usage limits reset on a rolling 30-day basis from the date of subscription.
• All subscription fees are non-refundable. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain full access until then. We may issue refunds at our sole discretion on a case-by-case basis — contact us at darren@vid2viral.com if you believe your circumstances warrant an exception.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of all video content you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited licence to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your videos and do not use them for training AI models.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Processing times depend on third-party providers (AssemblyAI, AWS). We are not liable for delays caused by these providers.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vid2Viral is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
